Decisions
The Organisers & Judges decision is final.
Prize Money - reduced or withheld
Competitors should be aware that although the first prize will always be awarded, in the event of insufficient starters in a class, lower prizes may be withheld or reduced
Objections
All objections are to the Secretary in writing, accompanied by a deposit of £10, to be returned if objection upheld.
Refunds
Competitors who withdraw in writing by text or email, before close of entries/publication of times are entitled to a refund. Those who withdraw after this time can claim their first aid fees but a medical/veterinary certificate should be provided for full refund. Paypal transactions will be fully refunded, cheques will be subject to a small admin fee.
Cancellation of Event
All paypal entries will be fully refunded. Competitors who have entered by cheque should send an SAE - clearly stating show date, name, horse, class, amount - within one month from the show date for a refund. A small admin fee will be deducted.
Entry, Cancellations and Alterations
The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, cancel or alter times or classes.
Horses and Ponies
Horses and Ponies must be four years old or over to compete in ridden classes. An animal that is sick or lame will not be allowed to be ridden on the show ground.
Horses must not be left unattended when tied to the outside of vehicles and must not be tied to show ground fencing.
No Horses/Ponies to be taken into the fenced eating area.
Hard Hats
Hard hats must be worn at all times when mounted. All riders must wear the current BSI standard hat when jumping including using the practice jump. Chinstraps must be fastened.
Body Protectors
Body protectors must be worn across country and are strongly recommended for show jumping. They may be worn over jackets.
Declarations
Competitors must declare with the start steward at least 10 minutes before their allotted time. Competitors missing their start time may be eliminated or go last at the discretion of the steward.
Cross Country
Cross Country competitors who are eliminated must on no account interfere with the progress of another competitor. They must be prepared to leave the course at a walk if instructed to do so by an official.
First Aid Charges
There will be one charge per rider on Show Jumping and Cross Country days for First Aid cover. Competitors making additional entries and paying duplicate charges for the same competition may receive a refund on the day
Bad Weather
Rarely, it can be necessary to cancel on the morning of a show due to overnight rain. Please check! The organiser cannot ring individual competitors. Please ring 01372 – 377 888 ext. 5 before coming.
Litter
Please use the bins provided.
Dogs
Dogs are to be kept under control. Please clean up after your dog.
Insulation Tape
Please take it home.
